McCain’s biggest talking point, other than the POW thing of course, is his so-called massive amounts of foreign policy and national security experience when compared to Barack Obama.
So does the fact that a 72 year old (happy birthday by the way Senator McCain) Presidential candidate picked someone in Sarah Palin with even less experience than Barack Obama hurt that argument considering that old “heartbeat away from the Presidency” thing?
UPDATE: Wow, it looks like Barack Obama had the same train of thought as I did.
“Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. Governor Palin shares John McCain’s commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush’s failed economic policies — that’s not the change we need, it’s just more of the same.”
