And the hits just keep coming for the man that almost killed Cleveland. The Supreme Court has allowed Texas to print their March 4th primary ballots minus one notable name, Dennis Kucinich.
The court refused to step into a dispute between Kucinich and the Texas Democratic Party over a loyalty oath all candidates must sign to make the ballot.
Kucinich and singer-supporter Willie Nelson objected to the party oath that a presidential candidate must “fully support” the party’s eventual nominee. Kucinich crossed out the oath when he filed for a spot on the primary ballot.
Now my man Cory might be lamenting this decision or even praising Kucinich for not following the establishment, in this case the Texas Democratic Party’s requirement that all candidates on the ballot sign the loyalty oath, but is this court decision really that big a deal? Considering he hasn’t cracked the 5% mark yet in any primary, will he even be around come the March 4th primary?
