Please forgive me for any spelling errors but I was laughing so hard my eyes were tearing up as I was typing this…and thanks to Sibby for pointing this out because I would never have found this wonderful nugget from his favorite unbiased bastion of truth and the American way, WorldNetDaily.
Rush Limbaugh is challenging Senate Democrats to match the winning bid on an eBay charity auction on what he terms as an “historical document”. So what has he got? Something from Watergate? Maybe some long lost letters from Abraham Lincoln? Nope, how about the original letter (warning WND link) from 41 Senate Democrats demanding that Limbaugh’s bosses at Clear Channel get Rush to apologize for his “phony soldiers” comments.
The message on the letter’s eBay listing says: “This historic document may well represent the first time in the history of America that this large a group of U.S. senators attempted to demonize a private citizen by lying about his views. As such, it is a priceless memento of the folly of Harry Reid and his 40 senatorial co-signers. BID NOW!”
There you go, history is up for grabs so you better get on over and bid right now so that you can own this priceless piece which is currently going for over $40,000 (what the heck it might even be tax deductible). Now might be your only opportunity to get this magnificent “historical” memento that can only be truly appreciated by a Dittohead and their mindless following of the draft avoiding blow hard.
This will surely teach those mean ole Democrats to mess with the Rushman and shame on them if they don’t respond to his challenge because with Rush, we all know it’s always about charity and helping others! On a similar note, when will Rush decide to put some more “historical” documents up for auction, like maybe his arrest report for illegal possession of prescription drugs or his 1-Y (later re-classified to 4F) designation letter he got to get out of the draft for an operable pilonidal cyst? I might bid on those auctions.
