Noah's Ark "Found"!

There are many things in the Bible that I find utterly ridiculous, near the top of that list is the fable of Noah's Ark. Putting aside the utter impossibility of fitting 2 of every species on Earth onto one boat, the fact that every one on Earth would have to be a decedent of Noah and his son's just doesn't pass the smell test (or DNA test).

Fast forward to a story posted today on World Nut Daily that claims that "evangelical archaeologists" (ok, I haven't stopped laughing at that either) have possibly found the remains of that mythical RV on Mount Ararat in Turkey.
A new claim is being made for the discovery of Noah's Ark, as evangelical explorers from China and Turkey believe they may have found the remnants of the legendary biblical vessel.

So what makes these folks think that the remains found are from the Ark? (emphasis mine)

The team says it recovered wooden specimens from a structure on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey at an altitude of 13,000 feet and that carbon dating suggested it was 4,800 years old.

Yep that's right, the very same procedure many new earth creationists claim to be bad science whenever it is used to show that the Earth is in fact Millions of years old. Stay tuned for more when and if they can get absolute confirmation from Ark experts.
