General Wesley Clark is not attending the Democratic National Convention. I was told by General Clark's personal office in Little Rock as well as by the director of WesPAC that he would not be attending.
Clark was informed by Barack Obama's people that there was "no reason to come."
General Clark has been given no role of any kind at the convention.
So considering Clark's comments on McCain, who is the qualified one again?
Clark - #1 in his class at West Point
McCain - 5th (from the bottom) at Annapolis
Clark - 4 star general, NATO Commander
McCain - Retired as a Captain because he couldn't make Admiral
Clark - Opposed Iraq invasion
McCain - Thought we would be seen as liberators
Clark - Married to same women for his entire adult life
McCain - Dumped first wife after she was disfigured in car wreck and married rich beer heiress committing adultery in the process.
Clark - Retired on military pension and earned his wealth on his own.
McCain - See rich trophy wife above.
Clark - Independent thinker, speaks his mind (apparently to his detriment)
McCain - Bush clone, voting with him 95% of the time in the Senate (when he votes that is)
Clark's resume sounds more like a VP candidate (at the very least) than that of an outsider looking in. First John Kerry trashes him and now Obama.
Maybe Wes Clark should be the one accepting the nomination in Denver instead of being the constant whipping boy of the Democratic Party he so faithfully serves?
