Costs Of Freedom

american flagAs we fire up our grills and celebrate our country's 232nd birthday with our family and friends, remember that maintaining our independence has a price.
The Department of Defense has confirmed the death of a Sioux Falls soldier who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Forty-three-year-old Specialist Estell L. Turner died July 2 at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland of wounds suffered June 28 in Malikheyl, Afghanistan, after his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.
