Michelle Obama

Is Michelle Obama a liability for her husband or is she a liability for faux Fox News? As we wait, and wait, and wait for the most anticipated non-existent video so far this election, the network is having a hard time figuring out how to cover the wife of Barack Obama. First they had to pull anchor E.D. Hill for her controversial comments calling Barack and Michelle Obama's fist-pound a "terrorist fist jab and now this:
An alert reader wrote in just a little while ago to let us know about something he'd spotted on Fox News Wednesday afternoon. During a segment discussing conservative attacks against Michelle Obama, the wife of presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama, the network described the former as "Obama's baby mama."

I checked, and sure enough, as you can see below, our e-mailer was right. In fact, that description was displayed on screen several times during the segment, which featured anchor Megyn Kelly and conservative blogger Michelle Malkin, an FNC contributor.

Maybe they should just stick to the news and stay away from trying to be hip with the commentary. That once insurmountable lead they liked to brag about in the cable news ratings isn't so insurmountable anymore.
