I’m kind of speechless after reading it here. Someone robs you, and puts a gun to your head, and they expect you to use your amazing “pizza hut training” to report such incidents to the police?Wouldn't you know it this morning's paper gives us an example of exactly why businesses like Pizza Hut do not allow employees to pack heat and as it turns out a Sioux Falls Pizza Hut is involved.
A Sioux Falls Pizza Hut worker was arrested Sunday night after he threatened a co-worker with a 12-inch knife, police spokesman Sam Clemens said.Gee, I wonder what would have happened if the 17 year old hot head in question had been carrying a gun instead of the 12 inch knife? Retribution is a lot easier when you can do it from a distance.
The 17-year-old suspect and another 17-year-old boy got into an argument while working at the restaurant at 4501 E. 26th St. shortly after 8 p.m., Clemens said.
"One of them went outside to cool off, and the other one grabbed a knife and came outside and threatened the victim with the knife," he said.
