Kucinich In Trouble At Home As Well

Continuing with the Dennis Kucinich theme today, it appears that Dennis might have had another reason to drop out of the running for the White House. Almost no one thought he had much of a shot at the Democratic nomination, other than maybe Cory, but his 2nd futile run at the Presidency could possibly end up costing him his seat in Congress as well.
Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson snubbed his local congressman, Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich (D-Ohio), and endorsed one of his leading primary rivals, Cleveland City Councilman Joe Cimperman, at a press conference this morning.

"I believe Joe is the candidate who will fight the hardest to create jobs for the people of the 10th District," Jackson said in a statement. "He is dedicated to the people he serves, and he knows how to deliver results."

Cimperman is mounting a well-organized challenge to the six-term congressman ahead of the Democratic primary on March 4. Cimperman has been attacking Kucinich for ignoring the needs of his the district while running a long-shot campaign for president.
